  30.     Even scarier, is Clinton's and the powers-that-be's continuing to 
  31. pander to the notion that, if we go on doing big business with the Ch, it 
  32. will give us some leverage in our argument that they lighten up on 
  33. some of their strong-arming. (Tibet).

  35.     All we have to do to know how their mindset operates is to ask
  36. ourselves what other culture has made fighting an art form?  Check out a
  37. couple of little doozy films, PEKING OPERA BLUES, and FAREWELL MY
  38. CONCUBINE.  They beat you when you do wrong, they beat you when you do
  39. right.  They like to beat you; they say it builds character.  I don't
  40. doubt it:  I only wonder what kind of character.
